Soliant Education has partnered with a school district in the Brimfield, IN area to prescreen, interview, and hire an Educational Sign Language Interpreter for the current school year.

Position Type: Full-Time, W2 contract 


  • Provide sign language interpretation services during classroom instruction, meetings, and school-related activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure the effective integration of students with hearing impairments.
  • Assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and educational goals for students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes communication and learning.


  • Sign Language Interpreting Skill Exam (i) hold certification recognized by the National Association of the Deaf or the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, (ii) hold a quality assurance screening level that is accepted by the Registering Authority, or (iii) score 4.0 or higher on the EIPA.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in ASL. 


  • Hourly rate, commensurate with experience and certifications of applicant.
