Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation services to students with hearing impairments.
• Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff.
• Collaborate with the educational team to ensure students' needs are met.
• Adapt and modify interpretation techniques based on individual student requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of interpretation sessions and student progress.
• Participate in school meetings and workshops as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Sign Language Interpreting or related field.
• RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) certification or equivalent.
• Experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to various educational environments and age groups.
• Knowledge of deaf culture and sensitivity to the needs of students with hearing impairments.
