Role and Responsibilities: As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing interpretation services in classroom settings, assemblies, meetings, and extracurricular activities
• Assisting students in understanding and participating in educational activities
• Collaborating with educators and school staff to ensure a seamless learning experience
• Supporting students' social and emotional well-being by fostering an inclusive and supportive environment

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and familiarity with various sign language systems
• Relevant certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in an educational setting is preferred
• Passion for fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
