Seeking a dedicated and skilled Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for a full-time position in Savannah, GA. As an SLI, you will facilitate effective communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and the school community. Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school activities.
• Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa, ensuring accurate communication.
• Collaborate with teachers and professionals to support students' educational and social development.
• Stay updated on best practices in sign language interpretation.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLI certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Proficiency in ASL and understanding of Deaf culture.
• Experience working with deaf/hard of hearing students preferred.
• Familiarity with educational settings and terminology a plus.
