Description of Position:
Educational Sign Language Interpreters (SLI) are individuals that ease the communication between deaf and hard of hearing persons and hearing persons in an educational environment. They use techniques that have been developed for communication.

• Full Time (37.5 Hours)
• Full school year | Now June 2023
• Caseload type: Floater; they would have a home base location which would be their primary location; but if someone is out or needs coverage, they may be asked to go to a different location to help that day

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in ASL or Education Interpreting
• RID and/or NIC Certifications
• EIPA Certification (Verification of certifications will be done prior to interviewing)
