Sign Language Interpreter – Aurora, IL (ESY & NSY) | Full Time
The school district is looking to fill this position for the 2023– 2024 school year.


Job specifics: 

• Title: Sign Language Interpreter Near Aurora, IL (ESY & NSY)
• Location: High School
• Start Date: 6/14/23
• End Date: 7/13/23
• Hours: 16 per week
• Days:   Monday – Thursday
• Hours/Day(s) Specific: Each day work hours – 7:05am – 11:05am, off every Friday.
• June 19 & July 4th no class.
• Caseload: 9-12 grade level
• Other Info: ISBE – PEL w/ Interpreter Approval
• EIPA Score – 3.5 or above per IL EDU approval requirements
• Must be able to comprehend sign, inflections and intent of the student and simultaneously speak to them in articulate appropriate English.
• Observe student behaviors and performance and communicate student performance to teacher and support staff.
• Collaborate with other staff in planning, modifying, enhancing, and implementing curriculum and school objectives.
• NSY schedule – 8/21/23 – 6/10/24 (Full Time – 35 hours per week) – Separate placement ID
