Sign Language Interpreter needed for a School-Based position near the Flora Vista, NM area. The Interpreter will be responsible for covering students at 2-3 locations. (Floating as needed) One student per campus in the area. The school district has requested a Sign Language Interpreter that is experienced working with students and enjoys working closely on a team. Some travel will be required for this position as it is on-site and at multiple schools across the district. NM State Interpreter Credentials required prior to interviewing for this position. 

Job Details:

  • District located near the Flora Vista, NM area
  • 1:1 Sign Language Interpreting for a student
  • Classroom Setting
  • 2022-23 school year
  • Full-Time, 35 Hours a week
  • Student is Deaf/Hard of Hearing

Job Requirements:

  • NM State SLI certification
  • School-Based Experience preferred
  • Interest in working with students from K-12th grade

This role is also onsite and is based in classroom settings.
