We are actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Sign Language Interpreter for a full-time position in Durham, CA, during the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will work full-time hours based on the school's schedule, providing essential interpretation services to support students with hearing impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and school activities for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and peers.
- Collaborate with school staff and educators to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Provide support in various school settings to accommodate students' communication needs.

Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other relevant sign languages
