Soliant is currently seeking a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for the 2022-2023 school year, for a school district near Ocean Springs, MS. 
A Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) is a specially trained professional whose job is to convey the messages of people who do not share the same language, culture, or mode of communication. The purpose of providing an interpreter is to allow hearing, deaf and hard of hearing people equal access to information and interactions.
Job Details and Qualifications: 

• -full school year
• -35 hours/week
• -We have 2 hearing impaired students. Split time equally between students. Work with teacher on when SLI is needed most.
• -An interpreter must have scored a minimum of 80 percent on a written exam, passed an oral proficiency interview, scored a minimum of 70 percent on a three-part oral exam
• -active license required
