Blazer Jobs, in partnership with the Las Vegas School District, is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to join our team for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation services to students with hearing impairments.
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and other school staff.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure an inclusive and accessible learning environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI).
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other relevant sign systems.
- Experience working in educational settings is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to various educational environments and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
