BlazerWorks is partnering with a school district in Waite Park, MN to find a Sign Language Interpreter for the 23/24 school year. As a Sign Language Interpreter with BlazerWorks, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with an elementary student who is profoundly deaf and support their communication needs in the classroom.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide sign language interpretation for a student who is profoundly deaf in the classroom
  • Support the student in accessing the curriculum and participating in class activities
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement communication strategies for the student
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports on the student's development


  • EIPA score of 3.3 or above
  • No educator credentials required
  • Experience working with students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals

This is a full-time position with a contract period for the 23/24 school year, working 37.5 hours per week from 7:15am to 3:00pm.
