Virtual Sign Language Interpreter Job Opening | Very Part-Time (Hourly) | Los Angeles, CA Based

Are you a Sign Language Interpreter in California looking for a few extra hours of work? Sunbelt Staffing is working with a school district in the Los, Angles, California area that is looking for a few SLIs to be on their substitute teacher list. 

This is a very part-time position and will most likely be only 1-3 hours per week. This is a completely virtual/remote position. You will be working 1-on-1 with a high school student. To be eligible for the substitute position, you must be available (if needed) during the hours of 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. 

Qualifications: 

• Educational interpreter shall be certified by the national RID, or equivalent; in lieu of RID certification or equivalent, an educational interpreter must have achieved a score of 4.0 or above on the EIPA, the ESSE-I/R, or the NAD/ACCI assessment.
• If providing Cued Language transliteration, a transliterator shall possess TECUnit certification, or have achieved a score of 4.0 or above on the EIPA - Cued Speech.
