Virtual Sign Language Interpreter Remote (Oregon)

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to join our team for the upcoming school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work remotely while supporting students in a virtual educational environment. As a Virtual SLI, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their educators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation for students and teachers in virtual classroom settings.
- Ensure clear communication and facilitate understanding during educational instruction.
- Collaborate with educators and other school personnel to support student needs.
- Utilize and integrate a comprehensive toolkit into lessons to enhance educational experiences.

Qualifications:
- EIPA score of 3.5 or above.
- Ability to obtain an Oregon interpreter license after an offer is extended.
