Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Brewton, AL

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with strong interpreting skills
- Previous experience interpreting in educational settings preferred
- Familiarity with school-aged children (K-12 or K-4, as applicable)
- National or state certification as a Sign Language Interpreter is highly valued
- Exceptional communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to facilitate inclusion in academic and extracurricular settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation between spoken English and ASL for students, staff, and faculty
- Foster communication access in classroom lessons, assemblies, IEP meetings, and activities
- Collaborate with teachers and education professionals to support learning goals and student engagement
