Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid license or certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
- ASL Proficiency Interview (ASLPI) score of 4.1 or above
- Experience working 1:1 with pediatric clients, preferably within a school environment
- Strong commitment to fostering communication and inclusivity for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and family members for optimal student support
- Open to travel candidates enthusiastic about working near Concord, NH
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, 1:1 sign language interpretation services to a pediatric student throughout the school day
- Accurately interpret classroom discussions, instructions, and student interactions to ensure accessibility for the student
