Qualifications and Experience:
- Holds a valid Arizona Special Education certificate.
- Possesses an active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).
- Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language interpreting, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Interpret classroom instruction and school events, ensuring clear communication between deaf/hard of hearing students and the school community.
- Adapt interpreting style and language register to accommodate individual student needs and educational contexts.
