Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
- ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or higher
- Experience working 1:1 with pediatric populations in educational or therapeutic settings preferred

- Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
- Adaptability, professionalism, and positivity when collaborating with educators and families
- Open to candidates willing to travel for the assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct ASL interpretation for a designated student in classroom and school-based activities
- Facilitate effective communication between the student, peers, and school staff
- Support educational and social goals outlined in the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Maintain professional confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of interpreting
- Participate in team meetings and planning sessions as required
