- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FPCC)
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience interpreting in educational settings preferred

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in classroom and school activities
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers
- Support the educational development of students by ensuring full access to spoken content
- Interpret at school functions, parent meetings, and extracurricular activities as requested
- Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to adapt materials and strategies for optimal understanding
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to district and legal guidelines for interpreting services
