Qualifications:
- Active Alabama SLI/Interpreter license or permit required
- Interpreting certification preferred (RID, EIPA, BEI, etc.)
- Previous experience in school-based interpreting highly desirable
- Experience providing 1:1 support to students preferred
- Consistent, reliable attendance and ability to commit fully to the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer 1:1 interpreting services for a student during all school hours (8:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 40 hours/week)
- Collaborate effectively with educational staff and team members
- Facilitate communication and foster inclusion in both classroom and school environments
- Maintain professional standards and uphold student privacy and dignity
