Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Minimum ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher required
- Experience providing interpretation services in pediatric or 1:1 educational environments preferred
- Proficiency with American Sign Language and familiarity with communication needs of school-aged children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of individual students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality 1:1 sign language interpretation for a pediatric student throughout the school day
- Support student participation in classroom learning, activities, and peer interactions
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school administrators to ensure effective communication access
