Pediatric Licensed Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Meridian, Idaho

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Advanced proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL), demonstrated by an ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher
- Experience in pediatric settings, particularly providing one-on-one support
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaboration within educational teams
- Adaptability to meet the unique needs of each student
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate, real-time interpretation between spoken English and ASL for a designated student
- Ensure the student’s full access to classroom instruction, peer interactions, and extracurricular activities
- Partner closely with educators and support staff to align strategies and goals
