- Professionalism, reliability, and sensitivity to cultural and language differences
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school-related policies
Responsibilities:
- Interpret classroom instruction and activities between students, staff, and teachers
- Support the communication needs of preschool students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Foster an inclusive, accessible environment for all learners
- Adapt interpreting style to suit classroom activities, play-based learning, and daily routines
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to optimize the student’s educational experience
