What We’re Looking For:
- State licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Minimum ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher
- Previous experience working 1:1 with pediatric students
- Strong understanding of classroom routines and IEP support
- Professional, adaptable, and collaborative attitude
- Comfortable with travel or relocation for the assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 interpreting for a pediatric student in all classroom and school settings
- Facilitate effective communication between student, peers, and staff
- Support student’s individual education plan (IEP) and accommodate learning needs
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to promote student success
- Foster inclusion and full participation within the school environment
