Core Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services between students, educators, and peers throughout the school day
- Accurately translate classroom instruction, discussions, and school events to ensure student comprehension
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and administrative teams to tailor services to each student's needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust interpreting techniques as appropriate
- Support a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere and promote self-advocacy for students using sign language
- Maintain documentation of sessions in accordance with school and district policies
