Key Qualifications:

- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 sign language interpreting services for a student within the classroom and throughout the school day
- Facilitate communication between the student, peers, and educational team
- Accurately interpret spoken language into American Sign Language and vice versa
- Support the student’s learning objectives while ensuring full participation in classroom activities
- Maintain detailed records of interpreting activities, progress, and communication needs
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute insights regarding communication access
