Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas Sign Language Interpreter Certification is required
- Experience interpreting in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong American Sign Language (ASL) skills
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, support personnel, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation for students, educators, and staff in classroom and school events
- Conduct student evaluations and assessments
- Support students through direct intervention services tailored to individual needs
- Assist with IEP development, meetings, and goal monitoring
