Key Qualifications:
- Valid interpreter license
- Minimum American Sign Language Proficiency Interview (ASLPI) score of 4.1 or higher
- Experience delivering 1:1 interpreting services, preferably within pediatric or educational settings
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time American Sign Language interpretation for a designated student throughout the school day
- Foster clear and effective communication between the student, peers, and school personnel
- Support the student’s educational and social participation
- Adapt to classroom routines and activities, ensuring accessibility in all learning environments
