Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, preferably with early childhood or elementary-age students
- Background in ASL instruction or teaching is highly regarded
- Compassionate and patient communicator who thrives in collaborative, child-centered settings
- Adherence to professional ethics and confidentiality standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive ASL interpretation for a kindergarten student during classroom activities, lessons, and school events
