Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for school-based assignments across various locations for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for interpreters who are open to travel while providing meaningful 1:1 and classroom interpreting services for K–12 students.

Position Details
Location: Nationwide Travel (Assignment locations vary)
Schedule: Full-Time | School-Based
School Year: 2026–2027
Setting: K–12 School Environments
Responsibilities
• Provide sign language interpreting services for students in classroom and school settings
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers
• Support access to academic instruction and school activities
• Collaborate with educational teams to ensure student success
• Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality in all settings
• Adapt to varying school environments and student needs across assignments
Qualifications
• Minimum Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher required
• Previous school-based interpreting experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability and willingness to travel for assignments
• Commitment to supporting student access and inclusion
