1:1 Pediatric Licensed Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) | Brockton, Massachusetts

Qualifications:
- Current license and authorization to work as a Sign Language Interpreter
- ASLPI (American Sign Language Proficiency Interview) score of 4.1 or higher
- Previous experience providing 1:1 interpreting services to pediatric or school-aged children preferred
- Demonstrated ability to foster a supportive, inclusive environment for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Strong commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate, real-time ASL interpretation for a designated student throughout the school day, ensuring full access to curriculum and peer interaction
- Collaborate closely with educational staff and families to support individualized student goals
- Maintain adherence to established ethical standards and comply with district policies regarding accommodations and student services
- Stay current with best practices in educational interpreting and contribute to a positive, accessible classroom culture
