Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Chatsworth, Georgia

Step into a rewarding part-time contract role utilizing your expertise in American Sign Language interpretation. This position supports high school students by providing essential communication access during after-school activities near Chatsworth, GA. As an interpreter, you'll work closely with students participating in Band (Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:45-5:30pm, and Thursdays from 6-8:30pm) as well as support at football games. Your role ensures that every student can participate fully and confidently in school programs beyond the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Active certification as an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter
- Experience supporting students in educational or extracurricular settings preferred
- Ability to work afternoon and early evening hours as scheduled
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time ASL interpretation during band rehearsals and performances, and high school football games
