Qualifications:
- Certification as an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter (such as EIPA, RID, or state equivalent)
- Previous experience interpreting in educational or school settings preferred
- Ability to adapt communication for students, staff, and families
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Interpret classroom instruction, meetings, events, and communications for students and staff
- Collaborate with educational professionals to support student learning and inclusion
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards for interpreters
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
