- Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) required
- Ability to adapt to different classroom and student needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 sign language interpretation for students, ensuring clear access to classroom instruction and activities
- Deliver in-person services exclusively—remote or virtual work is not offered in this placement
- Split responsibilities between a part-time assignment at Alliance Academy and part-time floating coverage as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and other school professionals to support student success
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards
Position Details:
- Full-time hours available through the duration of the school year, with a consistent, long-term schedule
- Start as soon as possible and continue supporting students through May 27, 2027
