Responsibilities:
- Interpret classroom lessons, discussions, and assignments for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Provide interpreting services at assemblies, extracurricular activities, and meetings as needed
- Assist with communication between students, teachers, staff, and families
- Support students’ participation in both academic and social aspects of school life
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards as outlined by interpreting associations and the school system
- Maintain ongoing communication with educators and other professionals to support student success
