Sign Language Interpreter in Fayetteville, NC

Qualifications:
- Current license to practice as a Sign Language Interpreter in North Carolina
- Experience working within K-12 school settings strongly preferred
- Demonstrated skill in American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation
- Ability to work onsite, providing face-to-face services
- Strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
- Professionalism, flexibility, and compassion for student success
- Ability to manage confidentiality and follow school policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person interpretation services for students with hearing impairments in classroom and school settings
- Facilitate clear communication between students, staff, and peers
- Adapt signing to meet individual student needs and learning environments
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to support individualized educational plans
- Maintain accurate records of interpreted sessions and student interactions
- Participate in meetings or training sessions as required by the assignment
