Desired Experience and Skills:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with certification or licensure appropriate for educational interpreting
- Prior experience working in a K-12 school setting or closely supporting students with communication needs
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to different age groups and environments
- Commitment to confidentiality and equitable access to educational content
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language for students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing in classrooms, school events, and extracurricular activities
