Key qualifications:
- Active state licensure for sign language interpreting
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required
- Experience providing interpreting services in K-12 settings preferred
- Ability to interpret effectively in educational, classroom, and extracurricular activities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver interpreting services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a variety of classroom and school environments
- Assist educators in adapting instructional methods to best serve students’ communication needs
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success
- Participate in professional growth opportunities and training specific to educational interpreting

Compensation ranges from $34.58 to $42.65 per hour and is determined by experience and location.
