Two positions are available for the upcoming school year, starting August 3rd, 2026, through May 21st, 2027, with the potential for pre- and post-planning days.
This is a full-time opportunity (at least 37.5 hours per week), with the possibility of part-time consideration, depending on your availability and the district’s needs. Caseloads will be determined collaboratively during the interview process, taking your experience level and age group preferences into account, ensuring a placement that best matches your skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Educator Certificate for Sign Language Interpreters with an EIPA score of 3.5 or above
—OR— - SLI Para educators with EIPA scores near 3.5 and a commitment to retake the exam (option to begin as SLI tech and advance to a full SLI role during the year)
- Proficiency in American Sign Language and educational interpreting practices
- Comfortable maintaining accurate daily service logs
- Strong communication, professional demeanor, and adaptability in collaborative school environments
