Qualifications:
- Current EIPA score of 3.5 or above (documentation required)
- Available for full-time, onsite work
- Experience in school settings or with school-aged children preferred
- Adept at facilitating communication between students and school personnel
- Holds or willing to obtain any additional state-specific credentials as needed
- Reliable transportation for daily onsite attendance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct sign language interpretation services for students and instructional staff throughout the school day
- Foster inclusive learning opportunities and facilitate interpersonal communication across academic and social settings
- Follow and uphold confidentiality standards regarding student information
- Collaborate with educators to ensure students have full access to curriculum content
- Assist with interpreting during meetings, assemblies, and any extracurricular activities as required
