Educational Sign Language Interpreter - Junction City, Oregon

Make a meaningful impact for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing by providing critical communication access as a contract Sign Language Interpreter. This full-time role, based primarily in the Eugene area, offers the unique opportunity to work closely with students on a 1:1 basis across a consistent set of school buildings. You'll enjoy both independent work and collaboration within a supportive team that includes other interpreters and classroom professionals. This assignment runs from 8/24/26 to 6/15/27, making it an excellent chance to spend a school year building relationships and supporting student growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completed interpreter training program
- A score of at least 3.5 on the IEPA evaluation
- State-required licensure and certifications (please confirm before applying)
- Experience working in educational settings, especially with DHH students, is highly desirable
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated professionalism and reliability
- References required with your application (must be provided prior to any interview)
