Qualifications:
- Current active NCDPI Sign Language Interpreter license (submit proof with application)
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
- Prior experience with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System)
- Experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Professionalism, reliability, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver real-time sign language interpreting services for one elementary student within classroom and school settings
- Support the educational team in implementing IEPs and addressing student-specific communication needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Serve as a resource and advocate for accessible learning
- Participate in regular team meetings as required
