Qualifications and Experience:
- Current national certification (RID or EIPA preferred) or proof of Minnesota state requirements for educational interpreters
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings is highly desirable
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and English
- Adaptable, compassionate, and able to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communicator with a commitment to confidentiality and student support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate clear and accurate communication between students, educators, and staff using American Sign Language
- Interpret a variety of classroom activities, meetings, and school events
- Support student participation and inclusion in both academic and extracurricular activities
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student success
