Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering clear and effective sign language interpretation for a ninth-grade student during the full school day (7.5 hours plus a 30-minute lunch break)
- Providing both telehealth and on-site interpreting services as needed
- Collaborating with educators to facilitate communication throughout all student attendance days, spanning from August 12 to May 20
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and demonstrated interpreting skills
- Experience in educational settings, particularly high school environments
- Familiarity with telehealth technology for remote interpreting services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work consistently on scheduled school days
