Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate seamless communication between hearing and deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals via telehealth technology.
- Interpret live classroom instruction, meetings, and other school-related interactions accurately and professionally.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support students’ communication needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards pertinent to interpreting and educational environments.
- Manage scheduling and coordination of telehealth interpreting sessions independently.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting.
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with telehealth interpretation.
