A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services within an educational setting. This position is based in Louisville, KY, and supports communication access for students who are deaf or hard of hearing through remote interpretation services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation during telehealth sessions between students and healthcare providers or educators.
• Facilitate effective communication by interpreting spoken language into sign language, and vice versa, adhering to professional standards.
• Collaborate with school staff to understand individual student needs and ensure accessibility during virtual health consultations.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines related to interpreting services.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience interpreting for K-12 or educational environments.
