Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred

- Proficiency in American Sign Language and awareness of Deaf culture
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic educational environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide sign language interpretation between students, staff, and educators in classrooms and school activities
- Ensure effective communication and inclusion for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Prepare for specialized vocabulary relevant to educational topics
- Collaborate with special education staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions
- Assist with additional duties as directed by school administration
