Key Qualifications:

  • Certification or relevant credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter

  • Flexibility to adapt to in-person or virtual demonstration (Demo for voco welcome)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 sign language interpreting for a 9th-grade student, supporting both academic instruction and social integration
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to deliver seamless communication access
  • Adapt interpreting modalities in response to the student’s changing needs (combining voice and sign)
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism within the school environment
  • Engage in required meetings, IEP discussions, and reporting duties
