Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Interpreting spoken language into ASL and vice versa for students, teachers, and other staff in classroom and school-related activities
- Facilitating clear communication during lessons, assemblies, meetings, and extracurricular events
- Supporting student engagement, comprehension, and participation in academic and social aspects of school life
- Confidentially handling sensitive information and maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Collaborating with teaching teams and support staff to ensure accommodations are in place
- Adapting interpreting techniques to meet individual student needs
