Desired Qualifications:
- Current Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) or equivalent with a minimum 4.0 score.
- Prior experience working as a Sign Language Interpreter, preferably in a school setting, is valued.
- Ability to interpret and transliterate for students, staff, and families in educational environments.
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver sign language interpretation services during school-hours for 6.25–7.25 hours/day (based on assigned site).
- Facilitate effective communication between students, staff, and stakeholders.
- Support student learning and engagement in classroom and extracurricular activities.
- Work collaboratively with school teams in Roseville and Auburn.
