Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Sign Language Interpreter credentials
  • Minimum 3.0 EIPA score

  • Up-to-date fingerprinting for school district requirements (status transferable via AHCA Clearinghouse if previously completed in FL)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one and group sign language interpretation for DHH students at the elementary school level
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure seamless access to instruction
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional standards
  • Adapt interpretation techniques to suit individual student needs and various classroom activities
